Samsung will copy the function of the iPhone X "Animoji" in its next flagship Galaxy S9.
In the Samsung Galaxy S9 there will be a copy of the Animoji function
The function will be called 3D Emoji and will use the "iris" scanner and the front camera of the smartphone. Like Animoji, 3D Emoji on Galaxy S9 will allow users to animate emoji, changing their facial expressions. Since Galaxy S9 does not have a system that looks like Face ID, it's unlikely that the function will work as well as Animoji on the iPhone X.
While it is not known how many animated emoji is presented by Samsung.
Except 3D Emoji Samsung will copy the stereo speakers of iPhone 8 and iPhone X. In S9 there will be speakers AKG, but they will not be frontal. Instead, one speaker will be located on the frame of the smartphone, and the other is built into the speaker for calls and will serve as a tweeter speaker.
Samsung mimics Apple and in the difference between the two versions of the model. In a small Galaxy S9 there will be one main camera, and in Galaxy S9 + a dual camera. Until last year, Samsung used the same camera for its Galaxy S flagships.
Samsung will present Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + on February 25, the day before the start of the MWC 2018 Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The smartphone will cost 930 dollars, and the Galaxy S9 + version with a dual camera - 1,000 dollars.
