According to a recent survey, only 12% of solar panel installers in the US installed Tesla Powerwall batteries in their homes. This is not because of insufficient demand. Instead, the study shows that more than 55% of solar installers say they are trying to install Tesla's Powerwall batteries when they try to install batteries in their homes.

Powerwall is able to store energy from solar panels, leaving the home completely out of the grid, even if power is interrupted. According to Tesla's suggestion, a 2,200-square-foot home would have at least two Powerwalls costing about $14,500.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said last month that Tesla is currently producing electric vehicle batteries and had to replace the Powerwall line with a car battery line.

In fact, there were reports last year that Tesla Powerwall production was frequently blocked, and customers had to wait at least for the first half or even longer.
