The latest beta version of iOS 12 found information that the new iPad Pro will have rounded corners of the display. This makes sense, because the tablet should have a design similar to the design of the iPhone X with rounded corners.
In iOS 12 beta 5, an image of the interface elements with rounded corners was found. The name of the device model on the image is 2018 iPad Pro (J3XX).
For 6.1-inch LCD iPhone was found the same image, and hence the smartphone will have rounded corners.
The rounded display only looks beautiful, it will not lead to any significant changes. Nevertheless, this display design will look great with the design of iOS 12. We also have confirmation that this year the company will release iPhone X Plus.
At the moment we have official information that the new line of the iPad Pro will have thin frames, there will not be a Home button with a Touch ID, or a headphone jack. Apple will add Face ID support to the tablets, as well as other improvements.
