The iPhone is programmed to automatically turn off when a certain battery level is reached. This is logical - but only so long as a charged smartphone does not begin to disconnect from the cold severe Russian winter. This can be avoided thanks to a new jailbreak-tweak, created by iOS-developer Ilya Kambarov.
Instead of immediately disconnecting, the iPhone with the installed Last Drops 10 will ask the user if he agrees to it. If "no" is answered, then the protective mechanism does not work and the device will work until the battery is completely discharged. If you really have 1% of charging left, then this can help finish your business so that the shutdown is not taken by surprise. If, in fact, the battery is charged, and the case is in the cold, this will help and avoid the annoying reboot altogether. The creator of the Tweek explains:
You charge the iPhone up to 75%, go outdoors at -10º Celsius, and after 5-15 minutes the smartphone shows 1% charge and turns off. Then you go into a warm room, and the iPhone "remembers" that it actually still has another 70% of the charge. So it makes sense to block such scenarios.
It should be borne in mind that Apple has added a similar mechanism to protect the components of your devices in emergency situations. Bypassing this mechanism compromises the security of the iPhone's hardware, and the Tweak itself does not have any guarantee: install it solely at your own risk.
If you understand the possible consequences and want to download Last Drops 10, then you can do it in the Cydia BigBoss repository for free. Tweak works on all devices on iOS 10 with a jailbreak and does not require additional configuration.
