iCloud Drive provides quick and easy access to data from both the Mac and iOS devices simultaneously. Many Mac users would not mind opening iCloud Drive anytime without any extra effort.
Open iCloud Drive on a Mac in several ways, but one of the most convenient is via the Mac OS dock. After digging a little in the Mac file system, the iCloud Drive icon can be added to the dock and always have quick and convenient access to it.
How to add iCloud Drive to dock Mac OS
You will need to access the system folder and use it to add icons to the dock. This sounds more complicated than it really is. Just follow the steps below.
- Open the Finder, select the "Go to" menu, and then "Go to the folder".
- Enter the following location and press Return (Enter):
/System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/Applications/
3. Find the program "iCloud Drive.app" and simply drag its icon to any place on the dock.
Now, to open iCloud Drive, just click on the icon in the dock.
