Apple released the final version of iOS 11 in public, and some do not know how to upgrade from the Golden Master, which was released a week ago, to a public release.

The good news is that you do not have to do anything.

The fact is that both the iOS 11 Golden Master and the public release have the same build number: 15A372. Golden Master is essentially the final version of the system, ready for release. Unlike the steel beta version, iOS Golden Master has the same build number as the final version.

In other words, iOS 11 GM on your iPhone or iPad contains the same code as the official public release installed using the Software Update mechanism.

If you are a registered developer or a beta test participant, and you have iOS 11 GM installed, you do not need to do anything.

But if you want to continue to install the system updates, you need to delete the Apple developer profile from your device.

1)  Go to  Settings → General → Profile and click on the iOS Beta Software Profile.

2)  Now click  Delete profile and enter your password to confirm the solution.

The device will reboot.

In the future, you will not receive a beta update of the system from Apple, and any public updates to iOS 11 will appear on your device in the Software Update.

If you followed the instructions, you can safely continue to use iOS 11 GM, and soon in the Settings will update iOS 11, which you can install.
